That’s what I thought.
It’s been a long, holiday weekend, the unofficial official kick off to the Summer, and your boy is exhausted. Believe me – I’d love to say that I spent the holiday on a boat out on the lake. But, instead, I spent it in a car….for 14 hours…driving from New Jersey back home to Nashville. Yeah, I’m running on fumes today.
So, my motor functions are about on par with this dog licking the wall thinking it’s a running faucet.

I imagine most of you are feeling pretty ragged, hung over, or like a dehydrated raisin (which is really something considering raisins are already dehydrated to begin with) after a weekend full of debauchery. For one reason or another, it’s always tough to get back to the dreaded day job after a three (hopefully for you, four) day weekend.
You’re not alone.
But, it is crucial that you take care of your body this week. Rest up, because we’re just getting started buddy. We are in it from now on…all the way ’til Labor Day hits us come September. There’s a ton going on in the Music City, but regardless of where you are, your crew and your family are going to need you at 100%. So, take a day or two to rejuvenate, but then, be prepared to hit the ground running.
We can’t let a single ounce of Summer get away from us.
