If you aren’t familiar with what The Kiki Challenge is by now, then you should probably crawl out from under the rock you’re living under every once in awhile. I’m definitely going to sound like an old man waving my fist at the sky in this post, but you know I had to do it to ’em after seeing this video of a dude getting literally run over (he’s okay, by the way).
As usual, here’s a link in case Instagram takes this video down.
“Kiki, do you love me, you just hit me, I hope you have insurance” (@newsflare)

“WHY YOU LAUGHIN!?!?” was my immediate reaction, too. But, how does this happen?!!?!
That driver is comin’ in hot. Did he just not see the dude dancing in the street? Or, was he as fed up with all these videos as I am? And, how did the dancer not notice this car coming?!
If you’re going to do this challenge, my God, you can’t wear dancing shoes in the street. Those things gave out like a diaper with a 10-pound dump in it. I mean, props for the skills – don’t get me wrong – I just think we gotta slow our role a little bit.
Not quite as bad Tide Pods, though Tide Pods were never really as bad as people thought. Just another one of those weird things that went viral. But, y’all…..that dude got fuckin’ CLOCKED by that car. If it were an actual truck, it would’ve been the literal definition of a truck stick. So, now the police have had to jump in and warn people that this is actually probably not something we should be doing.
Police around the world have warned people against doing the “Kiki challenge”, after multiple people attempting the viral dance have been injured.
The “Kiki challenge”, also known as the “In My Feelings challenge”, involves jumping out of a moving car and dancing alongside it to Drake’s hit In My Feelings, while the car continues moving.
Some videos of the dances uploaded to the internet show oblivious dancers crashing into poles, tripping on potholes or falling out of the cars. One video shows a woman having her handbag stolen while attempting the challenge and another shows a man being hit by a car while he dances.
It’s probably just a bad idea regardless. But, then again, this is the golden age of viral content…maybe…I don’t know….I don’t know how we can keep upping the ante on these things. But, I’ll step off my soap box now and go back to my club soda and rum raisin ice cream (that’s an age joke for you young ‘ens out there).
