SoBros Nation, time to gather round and do some good for the city of Nashville. It’s short notice, I know, but we have everything for the inaugural SoBros Putt Putt Open finalized, and we will be using this as an opportunity to raise a little bit of funds for Nashville Humane Association. You thinking, “say no more fam, I’m in?” Then, go ahead and smash the link below to RSVP.
But, if you need further convincing, read on, y’all. Our first (hopefully) annual Putt Putt Open takes place on Saturday, August 18th at Cedar Creek Sports Center in Mount Juliet, TN. We’ll kick things off at 11AM, and the registration fee will be $25.
$5 of that will cover the cost of two rounds of putt putt (best score on the day wins). The remaining $20 will be put into a donation pool that we’ll hand over to the Nashville Humane Association. Obviously, if you’d like to donate more than $20, you’re welcome to.
But, it will be first come, first serve. Just show up, submit your registration fee, then hit the course. All of your favorite SoBros will be there, so you know it’s going to be grand old time.
Plus, the stakes are high. It is the FINAL championship competition in the hunt for the 2018 SoBros Championship. Poppa Bear currently has a comfortable lead, and it would basically take him finishing in last place out of 30 people to lose the crown. So, we will have a ceremony to crown Poppa Bear the 2018 SoBros Champion at the conclusion of the event.
However, there’s a lot to be decided in the Supporter’s Shield division (the division of competitors that don’t actually produce content for us) – that race is wide open. So, why not show up and try to stake your claim at the title?
After the tournament, we’re planning to head on over to Corner Pub for a bit of an after-party. Drink some beer and eat some damn good food with us. It’s going to be a good time.
