I’m not going to lie, folks – this week’s column is going to be pretty short. I missed NFL Sunday this week as the SoBros team went out to the Basement East for some fun wrasslin’ as SUP held Don’t Look in The Basement East. It was a barrel of fun, but it also meant that I missed most of the NFL action that day.
Regardless, I’m going to power through this week and hit the big time highlights that you can definitely totally only get at SoBros Network dot com.

Pats in trouble?
Feels like we’ve asked this every year for the last several years, but this one feels different. They haven’t done anything to address their depleted receiving corps, and now they’re losing to the Detroit Lions on Sunday Night Football. Losing to the Jags is one thing, but the Lions? I mean….I expected them to be a decent team, but not capable of beating the Patriots. Definitely didn’t see it coming after they got spanked by the Jets and lost to the 49ers. Could there be something to this whole “trouble in paradise” angle in New England? Stay tuned.
The Cardinals are now the worst team in the NFL – congrats
The Cards SUCK. The Buffalo Bills went out and beat the Minnesota Vikings so they’re out of the basement.
Can’t figure out these Steelers
They tie the Browns. Then, they lose to the Chiefs. But, this week – they went out and laid the fuckin’ wood to a Tampa Bay team that was 2-0. Still no sign of Le’Veon Bell. Some good old fashioned drama with Antonio Brown. I mean, what the hell is going on with this team? The AFC North looks like it belongs to the Cincinnati Bengals in my opinion, but no one’s going to run away with it. The Steelers are still probably the favorites to win it if they can just get their shit together.
I’m in love with the Dolphins
Okay, maybe not as much as I’m just in love with myself. I said before the season started that I thought people were sleeping on this Dolphins team, and that they could be a potential player in the AFC. Maybe I just like being right…so FINS UP!
The NFC South is going to be a grudge match
Who do you pick right now? Carolina, New Orleans, and Tampa Bay are all sitting there at 2-1 now, with Atlanta just a game behind at 1-2. Each of them looks like they could contend in their own right. This is going to be brutal once it gets into divisional play. First up, we got Saints-Falcons this week.
The NFC North
I am calling my shot – the NFC North will be the best division in football by season’s end. Aaron Rodgers is going to get healthy. The Vikings defense is still going to be elite. Matt Patricia’s Lions are going to be a scrappy bunch. But, honestly, the Bears may be the best team out of them all right now. Like the NFC South, this one’s going to be a death match.
