I vaguely recall the wonders of being a child. Growing up has beaten ruthless cynicism and jaded pessimism into me. But, on occasion, I’m reminded of what it felt like to be a kid again. Today is such a day. After seeing this grown ass man parading around with a baby doll, my heart is full.
As usual, here’s a link in case Instagram decides to take this video down.

Anyone need a babysitter for tonight? #subwaycreatures (@franchizzze)

Wow, I tell you what – there’s no better place to show off your new baby doll than a busy subway. Look at all the people walking by, looking at this doll in amazement, and definitely not weirded out and a little nervous about what’s going on. And, WHOA! Watch out now, our boy has some dance moves to go with it!
Is that something he rehearsed? It had to be, right? You don’t just spring out the womb sportin’ skill like that.
But, that’s just what the joy of reliving your childhood will do for you. You get a new toy and it’s like the happiness speaks throughout your body. It’s like you don’t even have control of it anymore.
It looks like he’s taken a page out of the ‘voodoo ritual’ playbook, but hey – I’m not going to dock points for that. You dance to whatever tune inspires you. And, we’ve all been there before – practicing voodoo as a child. Wait….no….no, that’s not true.
Actually, now that I think about it, this could be a voodoo ritual, but I’ve already invested 372 words into this post, so I’m just going to roll with it as the feel good story of your Tuesday.
