That’s right, folks. Tis the season to terrify children. It wouldn’t be so much fun, if it didn’t yield such a tremendous reaction. And, let’s face it – it’s pretty easy to pull off.
When I was a kid, grown ups used to dress up like scarecrows and shit and sit on their front porches waiting for trick or treaters. You’d walk up to get some candy, and the sumbitch would jump like the dickens, and you’d go sprinting and screaming back to your parents. That’s just how it was back in the wild wild west.
Something tells me there’s not a lot of that going on in 2018. But, it hasn’t stopped me from appreciating clips like the one below.

Man, I love the reaction, but this girl goes from 0 to 60 in 5.2 (shout out to Alabama). It’s almost too blood-curdling to watch on loop like some of these viral videos. She may have a future in the horror genre ahead of her. I mean, she’s probably going to grow up to be into weird shit because her dad is traumatizing her at an early age anyway. But, if I heard that scream in a scary movie, it would automatically make it infinitely more scary.
So, in a way, kudos to this little girl.
This is also an A+ heel turn by the dad. “Don’t touch it.” “Don’t touch it.” She is practically begging him NOT to push that fucking button. And, what does he do? He pushes the button and pure emotional chaos ensues. This is right up there with the recent Dean Ambrose heel turn. So, bravo to the dad, too.
