LAWD that Chiefs-Rams game

I thought there was no way this game could live up to the hype that ESPN laid upon it, but not only did it deliver, it exceeded the hype. I think that very well could’ve been one of the best football games I’ve ever seen. Just unreal the way these two offenses went out there duking it out. Blow for blow, two of the best young quarterbacks in the NFL – Jared Goff vs. Patrick Mahomes. You had the defenses making opportune plays. Then, holy shit – Tyreek Hill.

10 catches, 215 yards, two touchdowns – this guy really is the biggest game breaker in the NFL. There’s a strong chance we could see these two teams meet again in the Super Bowl, and everyone who’s ever watched a game of football in their life would love to see it. As a matter of fact, let’s just cancel the rest of the season and let the Chiefs and Rams play every week. My goodness. I’m spent.

Alex Smith’s gruesome injury

Man, the Washington R-Words were having one hell of a season, leading the NFC East behind some old dudes who had found the fountain of youth. They have the best safety duo in the league. Jonathan Allen looks like he’s going to be one of the best defensive linemen in the NFL. So many positives this season….that is until Alex Smith’s leg sploded against the Houston Texans.

Maybe….just maybe…this defense can carry them into the playoffs, but Smith is one of the most perennially underrated guys in the NFL. In my opinion, NFL history. It’s the Colt McCoy show now, and though the Dallas Cowboys are surging, this is still very much a winnable division.

Bears-Vikings

The Bears clearly established themselves as the third best team in the NFC, defeating the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday Night Football. But, man – their fans need to step up their fight game in a big way.

Not only is this Vikings fan punching you in the ribs, but his nuts are on the back of your head the whole time. Yeah, not a good luck. Big time L for Bears fans everywhere this morning.

Happy fan gets game ball in touching moment

Everyone loves a feel good story about young fans getting the game ball after a big touchdown.

Wow – especially here at the holidays….you just love seeing heartwarming moments like this transpire on the football field. Who says sports can’t change the world?

Is Jon Gruden already plotting to trade Derek Carr?

Shit – have I already made a joke about Gruden trading Carr?

Blaine Gabbert throws the shittiest interception I’ve ever seen

The Titans are an absolute wreck. They go from defeating the Patriots in dominant fashion to getting their buttholes wallered out in Indianapolis the next. But, this? This throw?!?! That is terrible.

Julio Jones

You can take the player out of Alabama, but you can’t take the Alabama out of a player. Yes, I only included this clip here so I could make that joke. You’re welcome.
