Big news out of Memphis last night, as former Tennessee Titans STUD quarterback. Yes, Zach Mettenberger was a stud – do you even remember those wonderful locks at all? @ me. Anyway, the Mett Show has returned to Tennessee. That’s right, ladies and gentlemen. You read that correctly. The Memphis Express of the Alliance of American Football made the call. LFG.

Now, I don’t know what the AAF even is. But, thankfully, there’s this thing called the internet, and it tells me that the AAF is a professional American football league with Charlie Ebersol and Bill Polian at the helm. Their season is going to kick off right after the Super Bowl in 2019, and run for 10 weeks. Not only that, but they managed to bring Steve Spurrier back into coaching! The league has eight teams, and they’re all coached by NFL old heads, so you know this thing is going to be fun. The kicker? The Memphis Express have Mike Singletary in their head coaching position. Mike. Freaking. Singletary. I love it! As if Mett Show wasn’t enough, we have the preeminent football guy in all the land on the sideline.
DID WE ALL JUST BECOME MEMPHIS EXPRESS FANS?!?!
YEP!
