Nickell Robey-Coleman is an all-world slot corner – let’s not get that twisted. I mean, he was an outright steal for the Los Angeles Rams after the Buffalo Bills inexplicably kicked him to the curb. Dude’s good – they don’t call him “Slot God” for nothing. But, even as confident a guy as he is, you have to know when you’re tempting the gods too much. That’s exactly what he did in a recent interview with Bleacher Report.
Asked if there are signs that Brady isn’t the same Brady, he nods aggressively.
“Yes. Yes. Age has definitely taken a toll. For him to still be doing it, that’s a great compliment for him. But I think that he’s definitely not the same quarterback he was,” Robey-Coleman says. “Movement. Speed. Velocity. Arm strength. He still can sling it, but he’s not slinging it as much. Whatever he was doing—because of his age and all that—he’s not doing as much of that anymore. He’s still doing the same things; he’s just not doing as much of it. And sometimes, it’s not the sharpest. But it still gets done.”
So, this is actually a phenomenal read if you get the chance to sit down and take it all in. He’s a pretty interesting guy, and I have to say, I love the swag. I’m a big fan of swag guys…
But, hoooooo-ly shit. That’s just askin’ for it, buddy.
You can have all the attitude you want, but when it comes to King Belichick and Lord Brady, you kiss the ring or you meet the axe, pal. You just know that they were sitting on their thrones, in their castle perched high on the hilltop, and gently chuckled when they heard this news. Belichick is the same guy who goes for it on 4th & 2 when he’s up by 20 points in the 4th quarter – and that’s if he likes and respects you. If he doesn’t, well then – you might as well bend over and take what’s comin’ to ya.
As if the Patriots weren’t already capable of completely dissecting and demoralizing a team, now you’ve given them extra motivation. Julian Edelman about to post 15 catches on Robey-Coleman on Sunday. James White and Sony Michel, right at him, 200 yards each. It’s over. It’s ball game. Start preppin’ for 2019.
The Night King is coming for blood.
I wonder how much this quote coming out moved the line in Las Vegas. If I were a betting man, I’d have no problem putting my mortgage and at least one kidney, maybe both, on the Pats winning by a million on Sunday.
