Southern Underground Pro Announces Blockbuster Six-Man Tag for ‘Mania Week

Sunday’s Southern Underground Pro show was easily the promotion’s biggest to date. We witnessed a stacked card and a main event for the ages, as Brett Ison defended the Bonestorm Championship against Nick Gage. Nashville woke up to snow on the ground, but it didn’t stop from showing up and acting rowdy. The crowd was hot on a cold winter’s day.

But, as the show came to a close, all hell broke loose.

Ison defeated Gage – but, O’Shay Edwards took the opportunity to confront Ison. You can’t blame him after Ison turned on him, his former tag team partner, at November’s All Eyez On Me. But, the situation quickly escalated beyond a simple confrontation. Sadkampf (Dominic Garrini and Kevin Ku) hit the ring, and the three began to beat Edwards down before Mr. Brickster and Cabana Man Dan came out to help Edwards.

At the last SUP show, management announced that they would have a featured showcase match at IndependentWrestling.TV’s Family Reunion during WrestleMania week. We didn’t get an immediate match announcement.

But, after the events that unfolded yesterday, we now know what that match will be. As SUP officials tried their best to contain the frenzy, Righteous Jesse grabbed a microphone. He announced that all of the hostility and brutality pent up from I AM KING will be settled in a six-man tag. Ison & Sadkampf will take on Cabana Man Dan, Edwards, and Mr. Brickster. Hold on to your butts.

Family Reunion takes place at 12PM on Thursday, April 4th, emanating from the White Eagle Hall in Jersey City, NJ.
