I can’t say that I’m too familiar with the ol’ Travelodge. I don’t recall ever staying in one, but that’s really neither here nor there. I’m just trying to establish that I have no relationship with Travelodge, because that’s what good journalists do. It’s called ‘being objective.’ Nonetheless, it certainly seems as if this company has some shady business practices that have come back to bite them in the ass. You mess with the bull, you get the horns.
Bloody hell this digger driver has just smashed up a Travelodge because he’s not been paid pic.twitter.com/FeIEm0Erhw

Obviously, we shouldn’t be so naive as to think that we know what actually happened here just because of this tweet. But, while I admit to being highly transparent and honest journalists, I should also admit that I have done no research on this video whatsoever in the same spirit. I don’t need to know it all in order to report a story – that’s part of what makes me so humble.
Anyway, I’m no legal expert, but at last check, I think it’s perfectly fine to tear down your company’s building if they’re not paying you for your work. There are things like rules, laws, and ordinances that dictate hiring a lawyer and going to trial. But, most judges understand just getting into a bulldozer and taking out the front office. At least, that’s what my gut says. This is America and we have rights, after all.
Still, I think you have to reach an incredible level of cold-blooded anger to pull this off. Like, you have ample time to cool off between walking to the bulldozer, starting the bulldozer, and driving it towards the Travelodge. Your boy’s even there, bangin’ on the side of the window like, “BRO, YOU’RE OUT OF LINE!”
Instead, homeboy just blacked out and took out the damn lobby. Which, is in fact, another legal excuse for his actions. Thankfully, he had good reason to do this in the eyes of the law. Hard to imagine this guy will get in any trouble whatsoever over this incident.
There’s your legal advice for the day, folks. I will be sending you a bill.
