Big news from Sports Illustrated earlier today, as they announced Paige VanZant would be participating in the 2019 swimsuit edition.
What can’t Paige VanZant do?! We already know that the 24-year-old professional mixed martial artist packs a mean punch in the cage, but have you heard that she’s a killer dancer and chef as well? Paige proved that she has skills on the dance floor while competing on Dancing With The Stars and held her own in the kitchen while battling it out on Chopped.
Last year, she even published an autobiography titled Rise: Surviving the Fight of My Life.
Now Paige can add one more thing to her list of accomplishments: modeling for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit!
For those of you who do not know who PVZ is, she is a VERY attractive MMA fighter for the UFC. She has a ridiculous backstory of being bullied, extremely shy, and super self conscious. How, when you look like this, I do not know.

When she first came on, I thought it was a gimmick and there was no chance she could fight. I was proved wrong. She is EXTREMELY tough. She has taken some losses in absolute wars and has fought fights after breaking her arm in the first round. This is her in action:

I’m actually really happy to see her cross over and have some success outside the octagon. She seems like a genuinely good person. I hope she has a couple of more fights/wins in her because she is exciting to watch.
PS – Those non-MMA fans that think they have a shot with her or that they are going to hit her up on Twitter…her husband is an absolute savage who is currently fighting in Bellator so Godspeed.
