Big news. YUGE news. The Titans needed some help along the interior offensive line, and they go get one of if not the best guards on the market. Off the top of my head, I can’t think of a more athletic T/G tandem than a potential Taylor Lewan-Saffold combo. That’s just nuts.
Saffold’s only 30 years old, so a four year deal sounds perfect, and the money ain’t too shabby either. Clearly offensive line is a priority.
Now, if we can just add a starting-caliber pass rusher and some defensive line depth, that’s going to open the draft up for the Titans tremendously.
