In case you missed it, these new character posters for Avengers: Endgame started trickling out yesterday. Given that the posters in black and white coincide with people who were dusted in Avengers: Infinity War and the ones in color survived, it’s safe to assume that our questions about Shuri, Valkyrie, and Wong both have been answered.

We knew they were all cast for the movie, but considering that time travel is anticipated to be a huge part of this story, we didn’t know if it’d be real time or some funky flashback scene. Now, this would indicate it won’t be a flashback for Valkyrie or Wong, as both of ’em survived Thanos wiping out half the living universe. Shuri, on the other hand, did indeed get the dust.
Valkyrie didn’t show up at all in Avengers: Infinity War – we didn’t see her on the ship with all of the other Asgardians, so we’ve gone all this time not knowing if she made it or not. Rumor has it that she’s going to show up to help Thor with some [SPOILERS].
As for Wong, well – he hopped through a portal. Told ’em he was going to go watch the New York sanctum, and I guess he just got his Netflix and chill on. We never saw him again during the movie.
Shuri didn’t wither away onscreen, and that led a lot of folks to believe she had made it, but if this holds true, that’s not the case. She has developed quite the following among Marvel fans, so this one likely stings. With [SPOILERS] expected to bite the dust, a lot of people pegged Shuri to take on the mantle of [SPOILER].
Y’all can do research, but I ain’t gonna spoil all the fun for everyone who’s going into this bitch blind.
Folks, we are only about a month away from this movie. Hard to believe a year has passed since that emotional affair.
