It’s a spring tradition unlike any other – the mile long yard sale in our beloved, quaint, and country Watertown, Tennessee. For those who don’t know, it’s a small town about 40 miles east of Nashville. I’ve been going to this thing for as long as I’ve been old enough to stand. The Watertown yard sale 2019 takes place on Saturday, March 30th.
Buyers and sellers come from all around the region to get their hands on some random assortment of antiques, collectibles, household items, or just plain junk. If that’s what you’re into, then you’ll have plenty to choose from. I usually come away with some comic books, random old Titans memorabilia, and who knows what else. Last year, I bought a miniature roulette wheel.
Oh, and the FOOD. Plenty of food vendors, usually good for a funnel cake, Polish sausage, or both, or whatever. Literally, so many choices. PLUS, you get to enjoy the majesty of Watertown. It’s one of my favorite events of the year.
And, folks, I have some exciting news.
The SoBros Network has been approved for a booth at this year’s Watertown mile long yard sale.
That’s right – your favorite degenerate cat bloggers will be set up, selling our entire portfolio of merchandise from the SoBros Shop. AND, better yet, we’ll still be shelling out that content like we did in 2018 and 2017. Personally, I will be selling off some of my DVD and comic book collection. Will probably have a giant tub of wrestling action figures. Books….who knows what I’ll come up with before then? I have a ton of old baseball/football cards, so I’ll probably set those out.
I’ve heard from some of the other SoBros that they will be selling. If you’re into collectibles, it sounds like the SoBros booth will be the place to be. Hell, even if you don’t want to buy some of our stuff and #SupportTheTeam, the yard sale is a spectacle in and of itself.
Also, we spent some time this weekend making some unique art pieces that will ONLY be available at our booth! Mose, Cadbury, our good friend RHog, and I got together to put some paint on some canvas.
