Welcome to the weekly Tennessee Titans draft roundup for the 2019 NFL Draft. Over the course of the next several weeks, I’ll be releasing this column once a week with my very professional journalism opinions. You’ll find everything from rumors to wild speculation to actual analysis (sometimes). Titan up!
*The Titans visited with Clemson DE Clelin Ferrell yesterday. I’ve written about his fit with the Titans before, and I think he’s a guy who can come in and be productive at a position of need right away.
*In other pre-draft visit news, former Oklahoma receiver Marquise Brown had a cup of coffee with the Titans. I still don’t think the team goes receiver at #19 unless there’s a big run on pass rushers that leaves the Titans exhausted of all other options. I’ve been critical of Brown’s game translating to the NFL, but if the Titans offense needs one thing, it’s speed. “Hollywood” Brown has explosiveness in spades. If he were to be the pick at #19, I don’t think I’d be rejoicing or complaining – that’s an interesting fit…one that would have me in “wait and see how it plays out” mode.
*DT Jerry Tillery met with the Titans a few days ago as well. I don’t think enough of Titans Twitter is talking about this guy, but he’s worth keeping an eye on. I doubt he’s the choice at #19, but could potentially be a 2nd round target for the Titans.
*John Kinsley has an excellent piece up on Arizona State WR N’Keal Harry over on Music City Miracles. He definitely fits the bill in terms of what the Titans are currently missing on offense, but is he the choice at #19? Doubt it – think it’s entirely possible he could be in play in Round 2, though.

*As it stands, the Titans will have six picks in this year’s draft:
- 1st round – 19th overall
- 2nd round – 51st overall
- 3rd round – 82nd overall
- 4th round – 121st overall
- 5th round – 157th overall
- 6th round – 188th overall
