Every Friday, we here at the SoBros Network like to give you a proper sendoff into your weekend. Something to make you laugh, something to make you happy, something to make you cry, whatever you want to call it. But, anyway, we figured why not give this special column a name? So, here we are, folks – it’s the Friday Feel Good. This week, we’re going to look at some adorable baby deer from out at my mom’s ranch.
Here we go, y’all. Another long hard work week in the books, so it’s time to get our Friday Feel Good on.
Some of you may know that I grew up on a ranch out in Gladeville, Tennessee. It’s adjacent to hundreds of acres of woods, and when I was growing up, it was home to horses, goats, cats, dogs, chickens, rabbits, geese, ducks and all manner of wildlife.
Well, it’s a lot to maintain. Over the years, we’ve gotten rid of a lot of the animals, tore down our fences, and just let Mother Nature do its thing.
Since then, there’s been this one family of deer that keep coming by the house. Almost like clockwork, you can look out at the sunset and see four or five deer nibbling on the grass out in the field. It’s wonderful, peaceful, and relaxing.
Well, the other day, I get this photo from my mom…it turns out, one of the deer had babies and they too are immersing themselves in the splendor of the Stoney K. Ranch. I thought, “man, this is perfect wholesome Friday Feel Good content,” so here we are.
Look at how absolutely adorable. That’s all. Just look at it. That’s it. This is the entire Friday Feel Good this week. Some baby deer.
Oh, and please do not sue me, mama. I will buy you a nice dinner in exchange for letting me use this photo on my website.
