Hard to believe, but the Scenic City Invitational is just around the corner. It’s easily my favorite wrestling weekend of the year – loaded with quality show after quality show. This year, we’re getting a Crux Wrestling show on Thursday in addition to the two nights of the SCI tournament and SUP on Sunday. So, since Marko Stunt was officially announced as the 16th and final participant in SCI 2019, “The General” John Mosley and I had to get together to ‘cast.
On the latest episode of Checks and Championships, we place our odds on the favorites to win. Then, looking at the full SCI 2019 field, we play match-maker. Each of us brings three different “dream matches” to the show…matches we’d like to see based on the 16-man field as it is.
Shifting gears, we cover the three matches that have already been announced for SUP’s 8/4 show – Manders vs. Jaden Newman, JD Drake vs. O’Shay Edwards vs. Anthony Henry vs. Brett Ison, and Cabana Man Dan vs. Marko Stunt.
