Righteous Jesse has been a busy man, and will certainly continue to be a busy man as we head into August. Thankfully, he was gracious enough to give us an hour of his time earlier this week to chat about the weekend that was and the weekend that’s looming. He hopped on with “The General” John Mosley and myself on the latest episode of Checks and Championships.
First up, we catch up after a rough but legendarily fun weekend in Tennessee, as GCW came to town for two shows: W.O.M.B.A.T. in Tullahoma on Saturday and Lights Out in Nashville on Sunday. Jesse actually got the call to announce for Lights Out, so we talk about the day he had being apart of all the insanity.
Then, we shift gears and things get a little more serious when Jesse talks about his upcoming “Fans Bring the Weapons” Death Match at Crux Wrestling’s Hey Jealousy, which kicks off SCI weekend on August 1st. Hear what Jesse thinks about James C. Businessman’s ploy to punish Jesse, and what he and his tag team partner Kerry Awful are thinking heading into the showdown with Matt Tremont and Tank.
Jesse will also be doing commentary for the 2019 Scenic City Invitational, and will be back at home ring announcing in The Basement East on Sunday 8/4 for Southern Underground Pro’s All Hell Breaks Loose.
