The Smokin’ Budz have been blazin’ up the Tennessee wrestling scene in recent months. This weekend, they’re taking their talents to W.O.M.B.A.T. in Tullahoma, Saturday to be specific. They’re booked to square off against The Carnies in what figures to be an absolute banger between some of the state’s best homegrown talent.
Our very own independent wrestling correspondent, “The General” John Mosley, recently caught up with The Smokin’ Budz after a recent Resolute Wrestling show in Crossville, Tennessee to record an exclusive interview on the Checks and Championships podcast.
On it, Mose allows the audience to get to know Cody and David Morton a little better – they chat about their upbringing in the wrestling industry. These dudes have practically been bumpin’ since they were in diapers. Mose also asks about The Smokin’ Budz gimmick and how they grew into it. Plus, they talk about what this weekend’s GCW shows mean to the tag team and more.
