One of the first things you learn about this SoBros Network team is just how much we love the pure sport of frisbee golf. Or, ‘disc golf,’ as the hardos call it. Nonetheless, every year, we get together and have our own “championship” – which is really just a game between whoever actually decides to show up.
I’ve won this “tournament” both years we’ve had it (2018 and 2019), but the games sure have been interesting.
As a matter of fact, it’s been a two-horse race both years (all due respect to friend of the brand Ryan who showed up to play this year), between “Nature Boy” Brandon Vick and myself.
But, mine and Brandon’s frisbee golf rivalry goes much further back than just these two SoBros Championships. Some of you may know that I used to run a highly unofficial athletic club, and we’d gather every month for some random competition. For those of you who don’t know, I used to run a highly unofficial athletic club, and we’d gather every month for some random competition. One of those random competitions was frisbee golf.
The first championship match between Brandon and me took place all the way back in 2009. So, to say this event has become historic might be a bit of an understatement. Anyway, here’s a video of some dudes throwing frisbees around.
