With AEW “All Out” in the books and the weekly TNT show right around the corner, it’s time for another set of All Elite Wrestling Power Rankings! The order is based on win/loss record and the quality of opponents.
10 – Jon Moxley
Mox has only had one (technically unsanctioned) match so far in AEW and it was a win over Joey Janela in the main event of Fight For The Fallen. He was unfortunately sidelined with an injury that prevented him from competing against Kenny Omega in a highly anticipated contest at All Out, but the match has been re-booked for the upcoming Full Gear PPV.
9 – Kenny Omega
Omega is coming off of a loss to the debuting Pac at All Out in what many consider to be one of the best matches of the night. His only win in singles competition is over Cima at Fight For The Fallen, with his other victory coming in 6-man tag action along with The Young Bucks against The Lucha Brothers & Laredo Kid at Fighter Fest. Considering his only other loss is to reigning AEW Champion Chris Jericho at Double Or Nothing, Omega still makes the top-10 one spot ahead of his rival Moxley.
8 – Pac
Pac finally made his long awaited AEW debut with a solid victory over Kenny Omega at All Out. Pac not only defeated Omega, but he put him to sleep in decisive fashion, immediately establishing himself as a main event-level talent and a potential contender for the World Championship.
7 – The Dark Order
Evil Uno and Stu Grayson have been rejected by the AEW fanbase since their first appearance, but whether or not they’re “over” is irrelevant when it comes to getting the job done in the ring. The Dark Order is undefeated in All Elite Wrestling, holding wins over the teams of Angelico & Jack Evans and A Boy and His Dinosaur in a triple threat tag match at Fight For The Fallen and most recently defeating Best Friends at All Out to earn a bye in the tournament to crown the first-ever AEW Tag Team Champions.
6 – Riho
Riho is coming off of a win over Hikaru Shida at All Out that puts her in line for a shot at the inaugural AEW Women’s Championship against Nyla Rose on the debut episode on TNT. Rose doesn’t make my list because of her win/loss record, but Riho holds three victories in four total matches. Her sole loss came in tag team action at Fight For The Fallen, but she remains unbeaten when she’s on her own, which includes wins in 6-woman tag, triple threat, and singles contests.
5 – “Hangman” Adam Page
Page was off to a red-hot start in AEW, earning victories at Double Or Nothing, Fighter Fest, and Fight For The Fallen. He most recently lost to Chris Jericho in the main event of All Out, thus coming up short of becoming the first-ever AEW World Champion. The future still looks incredibly bright for the young “Hangman,” but he’ll have to work his way back up the ladder to title contention.
4 – The Lucha Brothers
While The Lucha Brothers just defeated The Young Bucks in an insane ladder match at All Out, their overall record has been a mixed bag so far in AEW. Pentagon Jr. & Rey Fenix lost to The Young Bucks at Double Or Nothing followed by being defeated along with Laredo Kid against The Elite in a six-man tag match at Fighter Fest. The Lucha Brothers have bounced back recently though, with their aforementioned win over The Young Bucks at All Out as well as their win over SCU at Fight For The Fallen. They have to be considered one of the favorites to make a major run in the tournament to crown the inaugural AEW Tag Team Champions.
3- The Young Bucks
While Matt & Nick Jackson lost their most recent match to The Lucha Brothers, they already hold a victory over them and have otherwise been unbeaten. Along with matches “The Bucks” have won that I’ve already mentioned on this list, they also hold a big win over Cody & Dustin Rhodes in the main event of Fight For The Fallen. I personally consider The Young Bucks to be the #1 tag team in AEW and believe they are the favorites to win the tag team title tournament.
2 – Cody
It was recently announced that Cody will take on Chris Jericho at Full Gear for the AEW World Championship. The announcement doesn’t come as much of a surprise considering what “The American Nightmare” has accomplished thus far in All Elite Wrestling. His only loss of any kind was as a part of The Brotherhood against The Young Bucks at Fight For The Fallen. When it comes to singles competition, Cody has defeated his brother Dustin at Double Or Nothing (in a match that Dave Meltzer rated 5-stars), fought to a draw with Darby Allin at Fighter Fest (where it looked like Cody was primed to get the win right as the time limit expired), and he just beat Shawn Spears in a major grudge match at All Out. In my opinion, Cody is the right choice to challenge Jericho next for the World Title.
1 – Chris Jericho
Jericho is a perfect 2-0 since joining All Elite Wrestling and both wins have been incredibly significant. He made his promotional debut by defeating Kenny Omega in the main event of Double Or Nothing and most recently became the inaugural AEW World Champion by beating “Hangman” Page in the main event of All Out. Jericho can now lay claim to being the first-ever WWE Undisputed Champion as well as the first-ever AEW World Champion. The former “Y2J” may have lost the physical belt while dining at a LongHorn Steakhouse, but it’s since been recovered so you have to imagine that calls for more of the bubbly.
