The Mississippi State Bulldogs did not exactly have the best passing game against the Kansas State Wildcats on Sunday. Garrett Shrader and Tommy Stevens COMBINED to go 11/27 for 151 yards. Stevens threw a touchdown and two picks. Shrader did not do shit. As a duo, they averaged 5.6 yards per throw. Y I K E S. Thankfully, running back Kylin Hill is playing lights out so far.
But, the big highlight to come out of the Wildcats 31-24 win over the Bulldogs is Garrett Shrader taking the ball into the air and absolutely getting spin cycled by two Wildcats defenders.
This HIT is complete insanity. pic.twitter.com/7ISjh0giyQ

Yeah, sure – why not? This is like the mobile quarterback equivalent of “guess Ill die” meme. Probably figured he had no need for his arms since they were struggling so badly in the passing game. I am sure Joe Moorhead was completely cool with that.
The interesting thing is that I think he traveled further through the air than most of his passes. Like, if that had been a pass, it would have brought up that 5.6 yards per throw average.
Glad the kid’s okay, but holy shit – what a hit.
Also, low key love that this hit popped Taz big time. Enough so that he just HAD to tweet about how INSANE this hit was.
