Tis the season, y’all. “Nature Boy” Brandon Vick and I got together for our 2019 Fall Movie Preview, recorded exclusively for your listening pleasure on the latest episode of The Vick’s Flicks Podcast.
We hit all the highlights from Netflix releases such as The Irishman and Between Two Ferns to the theatrical releases coming out over the next four months.
Starting the season off in September, we talk about the surprising performance by Jennifer Lopez in Hustlers that has some saying she could get a little Oscar buzz for it. Plus, we talk about whether or not the Rambo franchise should’ve been left alone.
Then, it’s on to October, which is pretty much all about Joker. What was the team behind Gemini Man thinking when they went for that 10/4 release? Both of us are high on the Zombieland sequel as well.
November is chock full of Oscar hopefuls, and we even dive a bit into some big time December releases (even though I refuse to see Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker). Despite my protests, we even hit Frozen 2 somewhere along the way.
