The Tennessee Titans held on to beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to the tune of 27-23. It felt like something you’d see on ESPN2 on a Tuesday night. Call it the ‘Sun Belt Game of the Week’ if you will. It was a shit show – neither team looked particularly impressive outside of a few plays, and unless your name is Mike Evans. That said, the play of the game HAS to go to this Titans cheerleader for making an excellent play, holding pom-poms, no less.

A+ grit and determination on this play. I don’t want to just throw around bold proclamations all willy nilly or anything, but THIS PLAY could’ve been the spark the Titans needed to hold on and win this game. Logan Ryan probably saw this and felt inspired to get that pick that clinched the game.
I mean, I can’t imagine having to do ANYTHING while simultaneously holding pom-poms. But, this Titans cheerleader (we need this miracle woman’s name pronto – someone who does actual journalism needs to get right on that) fielded a damn NFL punt. Are you kidding me?
There has to be a spot on this roster for her, right???
All the other cheerleaders are running FROM the ball, but she’s running TO it. That’s the kind of bravery that makes someone a paramedic or a firefighter. You want to build your team around players like that. She did everything but signal for the fair catch!
Shit, what would’ve happened if she had taken off running with it? I’m willing to bet it would’ve gone for six. Some people just have that personality – everything they do goes for six.
Salute to this play-maker. Titan up!
