Jaguars at Titans: Injury Report
- Tennessee comes into this contest relatively healthy. During Wed. practice (Nov. 20), Titans DL Jurrell Casey was a full participant. TE Walker was a limited participant.
- Jaguars WRs Chark and Conley were both limited participants. Monitor each of these injuries throughout the week. While neither WR should have a stud performance, Chark has some potential if he’s lined up across Titans CB LeShaun Sims.
Jaguars at Titans: Lines (As of Nov. 20)
- Titans (-3)
- Over/Under 41 to 41.5
Jaguars at Titans: NFL DFS Advice
- Expect this game to play UNDER to AROUND 41 to 41.5. These teams have played under those totals in each of their last four meetings. Both teams tend to rely on their defenses. Over the last month, neither defense has played well. Jaguars QB Foles just returned from injured reserve. He didn’t play in Jacksonville’s 20-7 Week 3 victory against Tennessee.
- Over the last two games, the Jaguars have surrendered a combined 480 rushing yards to the Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts. Last year, Titans RB Henry enjoyed a 238-yard, four-touchdown performance against this Jaguars team. Fresh off a bye week, Henry is known for elevating his performances during the stretch run. Henry comes off a 188-yard, two-touchdown performance against the Kansas City Chiefs. Play him.
- Jacksonville doesn’t have enough offensive firepower to consider anyone more than a contrarian dart throw. Chark is far and away their most dangerous weapon. His Week 3 performance included four receptions for 76 yards and a touchdown. RB Fournette doesn’t have enough upside when one considers his lack of rushing productivity and the probability that this is a low scoring affair. Limited scores equals limited touchdowns equals limited ceiling.
- When these teams met in Week 3, Jaguars defense scored 15 DraftKings points. That was established with nine sacks. Since then, the Titans have switched from Marcus Mariota to Tannehill. They’ve relied on a more aggressive ground game. Tannehill has proven better at avoiding pass-rushes because he’s better at reading defenses and making fast decisions. Jalen Ramsey was traded to the Los Angeles Rams. Playing Jacksonville’s defense is living in the past. Avoid them.
- Titans defense could fare okay. I wouldn’t recommend them. Paying $300 more gives you a hot Atlanta Falcons defense squaring off against turnover machine Jameis Winston. What about a $4000 Steelers defense against Cincinnati Bengals QB Ryan Finley? There are defenses with higher floors and higher ceiling.
- Pretty ugly game for DFS purposes. RB Henry is a definite go. QB Tannehill has given Tennessee more scoring potential, which increases Henry’s chances for touchdowns. That’s crucial for a touchdown-dependent asset. Maybe some Chark. That’s about it.
