2019 was a busy year for AJ Gray, as The Motherfuckin’ Truth was putting on banger after banger across the country. At one point, the dude held championships in Black Label Pro, Glory Pro, and Paradigm Pro. Not to mention, he came to Nashville and dethroned Nick Gage for the GCW Championship in December.
He’s one of the pillars of Tennessee wrestling, and he was generous enough to link up with the SoBros on the latest episode of Checks and Championships for what was one of our most fun interviews to date.
Gray and “The General” John Mosley catch up on winning the GCW Championship and just how special that moment was. They chat about how shitty Broadway is, and how you should definitely head out to East Nashville if you want a good night out. And, they look ahead to For the Culture, a show captained by Gray and GCW taking place as apart of The Collective 2020.
