Bill Belichick Had the Hardest Flex of Super Bowl Sunday

During the NFL's celebration of the hundred greatest players in league history, Bill Belichick reminded the world of all the hardware on them fingers.

Doesn’t it feel weird to be gearing up for a Super Bowl that doesn’t feature Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots? They had been in the three previous Super Bowls prior to Super Bowl LIV, when the Pats defeated the Atlanta Falcons in 2016, lost to the Philadelphia Eagles in 2017, and beat the Los Angeles Rams a season ago.

So, to see him as apart of all the pregame festivities and not actually on the sideline coaching his dick off….yeah, it was an odd sight.

But, Belichick didn’t waste the big moment he did get on Super Bowl Sunday. During some production that, I think, was meant to honor the 100 greatest players in NFL history, he made sure to flash all of the hardware and remind all of America just who their football overlord is.

All those rings. All those championships. Just a nice, subtle way to remind everyone that even though the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers are playing for the Super Bowl, Bill Belichick is the real king of football. He is the reason for the season, if you will.

What a BDE move.

WHY did he decide to wear all of his Super Bowl rings to Super Bowl LIV?!?! Who knows? Wouldn’t you think that’d be a lot to keep up with? Those things can’t be light. I hate having my car keys in my pocket. I can’t imagine having a ton of obnoxiously big rings in my pocket.

Regardless, this was undoubtedly the hardest flex of Super Bowl Sunday.
