It seems like every day, our fair city, the greatest city in the United States (I’ll say it), the Music City, Nashville, Tennessee is being lauded for some new accomplishment. We’ve got a hot ass job market right now. Nashville is one of the preeminent entertainment destinations in the entire country. Some people actually like the country music scene here. And, we invented the Goo-Goo Cluster. Well, according to some big fancy study, we’re also one of the top 14 highest performing cities in the U.S. too…

On Wednesday, the Milken Institute released its annual Best-Performing Cities Index, with Nashville coming in at No. 14, an 11-spot increase compared to last year. Music City’s rise is attributed to the region’s strong job growth and surging tech scene, according to Milken, a Santa Monica-based think tank.
Y’all we got think tanks recognizing us now. Ones from Santa Monica, no less. I think those are the fanciest think tanks there are outside of the ones that are in California.
And, this whole thing is based off of jobs and the emerging tech scene and our thriving healthcare industry and all that, but I got news for y’all….Nashville performs well in a whole hell of a lot more than just business shit.
Nashville is the bachelorette party capitol of the United States. I have a friends that visit all the time and talk about how we take it for granted that we can just stumble into talented musicians playing downtown. That is to say that they don’t call us the Music City for nothin’ folks. The Titans made it to the AFC Championship. The Preds won the Presidents Trophy a couple of seasons ago. It’s emerging as quite the food city. We have a flea market that kicks total ass. I dare say it has the most handsome citizens in all of America. So, we’re a strong performing city in the bedroom if you know what I’m saying.
10/10 dentists recommend Nashville, Tennessee.
That’s how well this city performs in everything….not just things that Santa Monica think tanks analyze. If you disagree with that type of hard science, then fuck you.
