Thanks to the pandemic, the food trucks are out and about around Nashville, parking in neighborhoods and parking lots all over middle Tennessee.

With the recent lockdown thanks to the coronavirus pandemic, Nashville food trucks have had to get creative to drum up business. Truth be told, it’s been a nice change for those of us cooped up in apartment complexes across the region. I’ve started checking up on ’em every day for the last two weeks, and it’s honestly become a highlight of my day to get out, get some fresh air, and support a local business through a tough time if I can. So, I figured why not try to do my part and pass it along to SoBros Nation? If you’re able and in the area, check out where the trucks are parked today.

Nashville Food Trucks Watch: 4/13/20

Five Daughters Bakery – Thompson’s Station, we’re burning daylight on your chances of getting out and getting some of the best donuts in town. Five Daughters will be posted up at 2617 Sporting Hill Bridge Road, Thompson’s Station, TN, 37179 from 8:00-11:00AM today.

Il Forno – Lots of action down in Thompson’s Station today! Get a taste of Italy with Il Forno at 3665 Wareham Drive, Thompson’s Station, TN, 37179 from 5:00-8:00PM.

The Mobile Chef – The Mobile Chef is a nice taste of just about anything. They’ll also be down in Thompson’s Station from 4:00PM-7:00PM at 2100 Chaucer Park Lane, Thompson’s Station, TN, 37179.

Tennessee Cobbler Co. – Spring Hill, you have to make an effort to get out to 1801 Baileys Trace Dr, Spring Hill, TN 37174 from 5:00-7:30PM today to get some of the best cobbler you’ll ever get. I stumbled upon ’em last week and came away with a tub of cobbler that felt as heavy as a cinder block with fresh peaches and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Can’t beat it.

And, if you’re the type to plan ahead, you can check out the future schedule of Nashville food trucks on BestFoodTrucks.com.

Also, worth mentioning that most of the restaurants in town are still offering curbside pickup, delivery and takeout. I’m over in the Hermitage/Donelson and area myself. So, I’ve been ordering from and highly recommend:

Just keep in mind that a lot of places may have a limited menu before you order. Stay safe out there, Nashville. Follow the guidelines. Wash your hands. Be kind to each other. We’ll get through this.
