Since we are all still stuck at home, why not get into a new playlist? Today’s theme is all about the soundtracks to some of the greatest and under appreciated films of the 1980s.
Soundtracks were a huge part of the marketing of a movie throughout the 1980s. Many of the biggest artists of the decade lended their voices to some of the biggest soundtracks of that time and some of them even starred in some of the movies. Prince, Madonna, David Bowie and even The Fat Boys could be seen on the big screen as well as heard on the radio.
Please enjoy some of my favorite tunes from some of my favorite movies from the 80s and take a trip back to a time when the soundtrack often made the movie.
