This Is Some of the Best Footwork I’ve Ever Seen

If you're looking for advice on how to improve your footwork, this man is the one you need to call. This type of talent is rare in the world.

By now, we’ve all been conditioned to know that if we hit play on a viral video, something incredible is likely to happen. I know full and well that as soon as I hit play on this clip and heard our guy here shouting “you ain’t gonna do shit” to this dog, that the dog was absolutely going to do some shit. But, in an unexpected M. Night Shyamalan twist, it wasn’t that the dog did some shit that surprised me. It was this dude’s footwork in evading the attack of the dog.

I mean, first things first: you gotta recognize that if you don’t start nothin’ there won’t be nothin’. I don’t know if that was the aim of this video, or if they just thought it would be funny to film this dog barking its ass off at this man.

So, you keep telling this dog it’s not going to do shit, then you just can’t be surprised when the dog jumps out of the car and comes for your ass. That’s just the code, man. Those are the rules we all agreed to live by when we born. Part of that big social contract people talk about.

Nonetheless, this man’s footwork is on another planet. Just absolutely stellar stuff. He had this dog’s brain so scrambled that it had no idea what to do. This is some Art of War type of shit right here – win the battle without throwing a single blow and losing a single limb. I believe that’s a direct quote from Sun Tzu.

Poor performance by the dog, though – it was very clearly bamboozled by this man’s athletic ability. If this dog wants to be a first round pick, it’s going to have to improve upon its recognition of coverage and closing ability. Definitely has the closing speed, but it has to have that aggressive finishing ability.
