Every Friday, we here at the SoBros Network like to give you a proper sendoff into your weekend. Something to make you laugh, something to make you happy, something to make you cry, whatever you want to call it. But, anyway, we figured why not give this special column a name? So, here we are, folks – it’s the Friday Feel Good. On this week’s edition, we’re going to relieve the infamous clip of George W. Bush dodging a damn shoe.

AHHHHHH!!!!! Sorry, I just had to scream. Another week pent up in the apartment has driven me mad. Anyway, another long hard quarantined work week is in the books, and it’s time for your friendly neighborhood Friday Feel Good. It’s almost #GinFriday, so let’s set the tone for the weekend by watching something funny. That’s what we do here.

I remember this happening. I don’t remember why this happened at all. I don’t know why it’s popping up on the timeline this week. But, we’re here. The moment is now and we’re gonna live in it.

Somebody threw a gotdang shoe at George W. Bush at a press conference back in the day, and ol’ W put the slick duck-and-dodge on ’em. You want to talk about athletic Presidents, you better put some fucking respect on this man’s name.

Did we ever figure out why the dude threw his shoe, though?! Isn’t that something you need back right away? Or, did he just chuck it and then immediately regret it? I don’t know – the world may never know.

But, this is an all-time great moment in American history that I hope we never forget. As a matter of fact, we should memorialize this in Washington, DC. LFG!

Happy Friday, guys – whatever you do, stay safe out there. Celebrate life. Wave at the haters. All that stuff.
