Every Friday, we here at the SoBros Network like to give you a proper sendoff into your weekend. Something to make you laugh, something to make you happy, something to make you cry, whatever you want to call it. But, anyway, we figured why not give this special column a name? So, here we are, folks – it’s the Friday Feel Good. On this week’s edition, we’re going to watch a clip of Robert Downey Jr. on his last day on set as Iron Man.

Alright boys and girls, another long hard work week is in the books. Hope you’re all maintaining your sanity out there, and if you need something to dive into, I’d recommend just hitting that ‘humor’ tab on SoBros Network’s home page and kill some time and hopefully laugh a little. Live, laugh, love. That’s what we’re all about here.

Anyway, as we count down the hours to another #GinFriday, let’s head into our weekend on a high note. Hope you brought the tissues (the ones you cry into), ’cause we’re gonna watch a clip that the Russo brothers shared of Robert Downey Jr. on his last day on set as Iron Man.

Man, this is some special stuff. We were talking about actors who are synonymous with a character on this week’s episode of The Vick’s Flicks Podcast (think Hugh Jackman as Wolverine), and RDJ definitely belongs in that category. What? 12 years as Iron Man? Just crazy stuff.

Can you imagine what it actually felt like to be in that room after all those years of Marvel!?!? I’m tearing up just watching this 10-second clip!

Marvel never would’ve become what it has if not for RDJ and the success of Iron Man. That’s my take on the matter. Since this quarantine has been in effect, I’ve been going back and re-watching all of the Marvel movies, and it’s just insane to think of the longevity of that character and how well he’s played it every time. We should all be so lucky to find something we were so clearly perfect for.

Pour one out for Tony Stark, y’all.

Happy Friday, guys – whatever you do, stay safe out there. Celebrate life. Wave at the haters. All that stuff.
