The Cast of the Office Crashing a Virtual Wedding Is Big Time Tears City

The cast of The Office crashed the virtual wedding of a couple of big time Office fans thanks to the fine work of John Krasinski, and I am crying big time.

Big time fan of The Office here. Big time fan of John Krasinski, too. That dude’s star is on the rise in Hollywood these days. Not-so-big fan of the COVID-19 global pandemic and the quarantine that it’s brought along with it.

I feel like I’m losing my mind on some days…like I’ve been trapped in a time loop, living the same day over and over. I know I shouldn’t bitch about it – everyone’s struggling, and I’m thankful to still have work throughout this time. I’ve always been the skeptical type – I can’t tell you how many times I’ve rolled my eyes at celebrities making videos trying to make people feel better.

But, I learned something about myself today, folks. It just took the right celebrities to have that intended effect on me. Maybe you guys love Coldplay and seeing the dude from Coldplay playing piano in his living room made you feel better for a little bit – who am I to judge? My point being that the man himself, John Krasinski, gave me the dose of feel-good I’ve been missing when he got the band back together to crash this couple’s virtual wedding.

There’s no denying it, folks. There aren’t jokes for me to make in this situation. We are officially in Tears City, Population: Stoney Lance Keeley.

I don’t know – maybe it’s just the weight of this whole global pandemic thing on my shoulders, but things just feel heavy, y’know? I’m walkin’ on thin ice and this video was just the thing to put me right through into the freezing water if you catch my drift.

I have re-watched The Office twice in the last few months. I don’t think I appreciated it enough during its heyday – probably because I was in college and absolutely could NOT relate to it. I just thought Steve Carrell was funny. I’ve watched it a few times since then, and now that I’m 33 years old, I realize how well the creators of this show were able to encapsulate the doldrums of everyday life and make it both charming and relatable. Every office has its Michael Scott, its Jim Halpert, so on and so forth. That’s what made this show so special to me. And, that’s probably why I teared up watching this video.

Ew, I’m so vulnerable – don’t look at me.
