There’s no doubt you’ve heard this a million times – 2020 has been a weird fucking year. Ain’t no two ways about it – let’s just call a spade a spade. This shit has been WHACK. But, it doesn’t mean that it’s been all bad…or that no good whatsoever has come out of this year. Right now, we have the hit single from Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion, “WAP,” that is taking the world by storm, and ffs, why shouldn’t it? Who doesn’t love some -wet- -ass- -p*ssy- y,’know?
I’m usually against the censorship of art, but I have to do that out of fear that Google will categorize us as p*rnography. So many fuckin’ violations off that stupid article I wrote about P*rnH*b earlier this year, so I’m just not gonna risk it again.
Anyway, WAP talk – back to it. WAP has been a bright spot for 2020, all things considered. But, just when you think the hype couldn’t reach any more of a fever pitch, they bring Gilbert Gottfried back from the grave to recite some of the song’s iconic and poetic lyrics for some incredible programming.
Shout out to this show I’ve never heard of for making waves and going viral. I don’t know who your marketing team is, but this is a real flex. I think Gilbert Gottfried is even old enough to be considered ‘vintage’ now, which means that all the young people will think this is super cool.
As far as the delivery, man – it’s amazing what tone can do. When it’s Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion, I can’t explain it. Something just starts happening to my body. It’s a physiological response that says, “hey, dude – you shouldn’t stand up in the Cracker Barrel right now” if you catch my drift.
Talkin’ boners, people.
But, with Gilbert Gottfried, it’s very aggressive and angry sounding. Like, I’m beginning to think you’re mad at the wet ass p*ss*. Is that how it’s supposed to be?
I don’t know – this went beyond shits and giggles, and has reached Inception levels of mindfuckery. This has turned into an M. Night Shyamalan movie.
