If you’re anything remotely like me or some of the other members of the SoBros Network team, you’ve got a soundtrack for every season. Certain songs in the cold of winter, the vibrance of summer – no matter the occasion, I have a set of songs handy for it. That’s what I’ve got for you here today, folks – the SoBros Network’s Fall Playlist has been updated for 2020.

The mornings and evenings have become a bit brisk. High noon has cooled off a bit, becoming much more manageable in the process. The days are getting shorter. The leaves are starting to fall off the trees. Pumpkin-flavored everything is lining store shelves. Stores are putting out their Halloween candy. All the signs are there – fall is here.

I started this list of songs all the way back in 2016 – SoBros Network dot com wasn’t even a year old. Man, how time flies – every year, we’ve added new songs as we’ve remembered ’em, or as we’ve welcomed new SoBros onto the team who might have their own suggestions for the season.

This year, SoBros rookies extraordinaire Brittany Fernandez and Steven McCash pitched in and added a slew of songs. Apparently, this is also Cadbury’s time to shine. Pretty sure he could’ve added a million songs to this playlist, but he pulled up, saying “I could add an annoyingly amount….but I won’t.

It’s clear that this team leans indie/emo at this time of year. I don’t know. I can’t speak for the other SoBros – in my opinion, something about that style of music just lends itself to the shorter days, cooler weather, and reflective mood the fall brings with it. So, pour a hot cup of apple cider, sit out on the back porch, enjoy the sunset, and turn on the sounds of the season according to us.
