Big big news out of last night’s game. I mean sure, the Tennessee Titans rolled up on the Buffalo Bills and spanked them out of their blue jeans. But, that’s not the story here. We’ve got some Grade A journalism as this moment largely went undiscussed by the Nashville media (shame on you guys). Just when Taylor Lewan extends his hand for a high five, Ryan Tannehill walks right by him, leaving his left tackle out in the cold.
For all of the good that was done last night, this is a real black eye on the occasion. This is probably one of the worst situations you could put your boys in, and I think it begs for some real investigative detective work. Thankfully, that’s what the SoBros Network and I are here for. Digging into the weeds and pulling up worms….or whatever that saying is supposed to be.

Whoa, whoa, whoa – one 3-0 start and all of a sudden, the star quarterback and MVP candidate is gettin’ a little too big for his britches and blowing off the left tackle? Just…you hate to see stuff like this. Completely ignoring the man. I wonder if there’s some sort of beef here. Someone needs to ask that question – Theresa Walker is really good at asking questions. Someone get her on the line – I smell some dissension among the ranks, but that’s just my journalistic opinion.
Take a closer look at this clip, though. Who was there for Taylor Lewan when Ryan Tannehill left him hanging? Taylor Lewan. That’s right – thank God Lewan was there to realize that he had been hung out to dry by his quarterback, and was able to high five himself. Otherwise, this would’ve looked really dumb, and it probably would’ve been embarrassing. Just calling the facts as I see them – remember, this is journalism. I have to be unbiased here.
It was a clutch move by Lewan, and really showed a lot of heart. It would’ve been easy for him to fold, maybe even shed a single solitary tear, because of the position that that diva Ryan Tannehill put him in. Instead, #77 pulled himself up by his bootstraps and gave himself a high five. Full recovery. Excellent form. Well done – I’m actually standing at my desk and clapping right now. Don’t ask how I’m simultaneously typing this article.
But, since I’ve been digging around, and by digging around, I mean “watching this video,” I’ve come to realize that it was a huge leadership moment for Lewan. Why? Because it demonstrated that Lewan would never leave a teammate hanging, not even himself. Do you think Lewan would’ve left Tannehill hanging if the roles were reversed?
As evidence by this video clip, I say nay. FUCK NAY. That’s what leaders do – they’re there for their teammates. Boom – appropriate they’re/there/their usage. LFG!
That’s why he was voted upon by the people and for the people (all 16 of them) as ‘The King of New Nashville’ back in 2018. That’s why he’s been a three-time nominee for the ‘Spirit of Nashville’ Award and won it alongside his Bussin’ With The Boys comrades in 2019. Are all of these fake awards that we totally just made up for the fuck of it? That’s neither here nor there. We are an official website, AND we are an official LLC (boom, motherfuckers) – so IT COUNTS.
Will the Titans recover from this disaster? Or, will this end in a literal fist fight between Tannehill and Lewan? That remains to be seen – but I’m betting fist fight in the Joe’s Crab Shack parking lot.
