Welcome all degenerate gamblers back into our weekly American football betting column here on the SoBros Network, Tank the 401k. Call your bookie and empty those retirement accounts (actually, don’t really do that – this is just sarcasm. Our lawyers say we shouldn’t claim to be experts on anything because we’re not)! Each week, the SoBros team up to offer their five locks of the week – obviously, we’re not professionals here so take this advice with a grain of salt and don’t sue us if you piss all of your money away. That’s not our fault. Okay, I think we’re all set here – here are this week’s SoBros gambling picks.

STAN’S PICKS

Second 5-0 sweep this year! 9-1 in my last 10. Thinking of changing my name to Santa Claus because I’m just giving out free gifts to the world! Can we do it 2 weeks in a row?

  • Over 49 Cincy/Navy. Cincy will score 40 on their own. Need Navy for 10.
  • Wake -3. This could be a trap I’m falling into. Tread lightly.
  • Oregon over 59.5. West coast points bowl.
  • Browns -1.5. Thursday night delight.
  • Raiders – 3. No love for Hunter Renfrow and the raiders with this line.

Steven’s Picks

Call me Mr. Consistent after back-to-back-to-back 3-2 weeks picking games here. I’m still a little bitter over Tampa Bay not covering last Thursday. There’s not a lot of NFL game lines I’m excited about this week, so my main focus is winning money on college games.

  • San Jose St. -5 – They’re playing one of two winless teams in UNLV and I feel the Spartans cover easily.
  • SMU -13.5 – I’m going to keep riding them until the matchup with Cincinnati on Nov. 20
  • OleMiss/LSU O75.5 – After last week’s game against Tennessee, there’s no way I think this Ole Miss defense holds an inspired LSU offense to 26 points.
  • Liberty -21.5 – North Texas has lost five straight and are facing a Liberty team that is coming off an upset loss to UL Monroe. The Flames are going to heat up the scoreboard this week.
  • Baltimore -6.5 – The only NFL spread I truly like. Lamar Jackson is in MVP mode once again and they are coming off an impressive win against the Chargers.

Stoney’s Picks

Here we go, y’all. This team is feelin’ it now, and I love it. I wasn’t as in love with this week’s board as Stan was, but I was still happy to find plenty of value. Let’s ride.

  • Browns -2 – If you were lucky enough to get it at -1.5, then that’s a great value for the Browns in this spot. Everyone’s going to overreact to the Baker Mayfield news, but let’s be real, it’s not like they’re losing much. He hadn’t been elite level Baker Mayfield all season. Trust the veteran Case Keenum and the Browns defense in this spot against a Broncos team that is banged up in its own right. Don’t bite.
  • Oregon +2.5 – I know everyone’s talking about DTR’s edge over Anthony Brown being the difference in this one, but I just think this is a game Oregon knows they have to win, and they’ll bow up in the run game. It may be a one point win, but I think they get it done in a game that everyone is already calling a “signature moment” for the UCLA program.
  • Titans +5.5 – This line is starting to move around, and I’ve seen it jump to +4.5 on some books. If it gets around +3.5, that’s about as far as I’m willing to go, but if you can still get +5.5, I say go for it. This Chiefs offense is turning the ball over, the defense is one of the worst in the league, and if the Titans can run the ball and control the game a little bit, it may come down to which defense can make one big stop. I trust the Titans to do that.
  • Eagles @ Raiders, OVER 49 – I love this as a competitive game between two offenses that I feel are a little underrated. The Raiders are going to want to throw the ball, but the Eagles are quietly allowing the 5th fewest passing yards per game on the season. The Eagles are going to run the ball against the Raiders’ 8th worst run defense, and Jalen Hurts’ legs could be the difference. I was tempted to take the Eagles +3 here, but feel this game might be a surprising shootout, and that’s probably the safer bet.
  • Packers -7.5 – Don’t think too hard. The Packers are rolling. The Football Team is reeling.
