Hello, and welcome in to the latest edition of Yankee Candle Reviews here on SoBros Network. I will be your host – the Fragrance Aficionado of SoBros Network, also the EIC, Stoney Keeley. My passion for Yankee Candle began in 2006, when I strolled into the location in Providence Marketplace in Mount Juliet, Tennessee. I picked up a jar of Autumn Woods, and found it captured the essence of the season perfectly. I’ve been hooked in this…well, you could even call it ‘romantic…’ relationship with Yankee Candle ever since. Today, I’ll be sharing my thoughts on the wonderful Autumnal fragrance, Woodland Road Trip.

We are burning some Grade A fall fragrances in the Keeley household right now – we’re talkin’ all manner of scents from Earth, leaves, pumpkin, apple, and all the spices in between. Woodland Road Trip is a natural and refreshing combination of a little bit of everything that makes fall great. This one dropped earlier this year as apart of Yankee’s new Woodland Road Trip collection and it absolutely delivers. It’s got that Earthy fragrance that stands out from the pumpkin and cinnamon scents of the season that can get a little repetitive, but there’s just enough spice in there to round it out as a good fall fragrance.

I can’t put my finger on it, but this candle reminds me of Gatlinburg, Tennessee and a day trek up through the Smoky Mountains. Honestly, that just downright pisses me off. We are trying to save every spare dollar we have for our wedding next May and I don’t have money to be throwing around on trips to Gatlinburg. Thanks a lot, Yankee Candle. You’ve made me sad.

Recommended burning: On a sunny fall evening, when the leaves are vibrant and bursting with color, the air is fresh, and you can smoke a cigar topless on the back deck.
