Just last week, the fine folks at Old Bay announced that coming later this month, we will officially have Old Bay vodka to go along with our seasoning and our hot sauce. I, for one, can’t wait to inject this directly into my veins, or at the very least, I think you can probably make a pretty damn good bloody mary out this sumbitch.

I couldn’t be more in on this. Early in 2020, I wrote a list of my top 10 things to put Old Bay on. Vodka didn’t even cross my mind, and yet here we are, two years later and I’m writing about such a thing existing in this world. It’s like the folks at Old Bay are wizards – they know what we want before we even do. We’re talking about putting Old Bay on popcorn and scrambled eggs (not together), and they’re just toiling away in the lab getting set to churn out Old Bay vodka. I just so happen to be driving up through the bay area in April for our wedding shower. I might just have to make a stop and buy me some, even if it means adding hours to the drive (don’t tell my fiancé that part).
PS. I wanted to title this post ‘Old Bay Vodka Is Coming Soon and So Am I’ but I showed some restraint, if only for once in my life. You’re welcome.
