Since I’m going to be out of office for the week, getting married, and celebrating the occasion with friends and family who have traveled literally from coast to coast to be here in Nashville with us, I didn’t want to just leave you high and dry with no SoBros Network content in my absence. So, over the course of the next week, I’ll be looking at and re-running some of my favorite shows, videos, and articles we’ve produced. Today, we’re going to look at The Vick’s Flicks Podcast.

The Best of The Vick’s Flicks Podcast

After celebrating our 100th episode back in the spring for the 2022 Oscars ceremony, it’s safe to say that we have ourselves quite the extensive and diverse catalog with The Vick’s Flicks Podcast. This show has always been effortless for me, as I’m able to depend on the vast movie knowledge of our resident film critic, Brandon Vick, and any guests we may have along the way. It was hard to narrow this down to five, but off the top of my head, these would be my five personal favorite episodes of The Vick’s Flicks Podcast.

Ep. 40: 28 Movies to Watchlink – “Brandon, Stoney, the SoBros team, and our friends offer up 28 movies for you to watch during your quarantine.” This episode has always had a special place in my heart because we literally just came up with random movie recommendations and shared them with our listeners at the early onset of the Covid-19 pandemic. These were the early days when city streets were like ghost towns and we didn’t leave our houses for weeks at a time.

Ep. 63: Horror Remakes that Are Actually Goodlink – “Brittany Fernandez, Stoney Keeley, and Brandon Vick dive into NINE different horror remakes that were actually good on the latest Spooky Season episode of The Vick’s Flicks Podcast!”

Ep. 75: Jason Stathamlink – “With Wrath of Man dropping in theaters, Brandon and Stoney take the opportunity to relive the career of one of the movie industry’s biggest action draws, Jason Statham.” For whatever reason, this remains our most downloaded episode to date.

Ep. 76: Emily Blunt, John Krasinski, and A Quiet Placelink – “Brandon and Stoney take a deep dive into the story of A Quiet Place, how it came to be, and offer their thoughts on both films, while diving into the filmography of John Krasinski and Emily Blunt too.”

Ep. 92: The History of Spider-Man Movieslink – “With Spider-Man: No Way Home dropping this week, Brandon and Stoney took the opportunity to dive into the film history of one of the most iconic superheroes of all time. From the Sam Raimi trilogy to the MCU and beyond, from Tobey Maguire to Andrew Garfield to Tom Holland, and all of the villains in between, the guys talk all things Spidey on this episode of The Vick’s Flicks Podcast.”
