Minor league baseball stays undefeated. Over the weekend, the Kenosha Kingfish had Green Bay Packers running back AJ Dillon and quarterback Jordan Love, among others, out for a legends celebrity softball game. And, I guess as apart of the hype for this event, they decided they were going to see how their mascot, King Elvis, would fare in a one on one encounter with the bulldozing Packers running back. Welp – let’s just cut to the tape to see how that worked out for King Elvis:

This is what it’s all about, folks. This is what minor league baseball is all about – funky stunts to get the people talking. It doesn’t matter if they’re practically sacrificing someone to AJ Dillon. Last I checked, the video had nearly four million views, so guess what! IT! WORKED! I don’t know how to describe it, but this video is like the visual embodiment of that feeling you get when you get hit so hard you wheeze the breath right out of your lungs. I mean, King Elvis had no chance in this drill. He couldn’t even get his feet properly set before Dillon had already run clean through his soul. I’ve seen butter put up a better fight against a knife than King Elvis did in this clip. That was like putting a hot dog in a microwave for too long.
The season hasn’t even started and Dillon’s already adding clips to his highlight real. That Packers back field is nothing to mess with. Dillon and Aaron Jones make for one of the best 1-2 punches in the league, but Dillon has developed the reputation for being the hammer…the thunder to Jones’ lightning, if you will. While the scope of that power might not be fully comprehended when he’s beatin’ and bangin’ on other NFL players, it certainly shows when he goes up against a regular Joe like you and me. Glad to see he’s finding ways to get in the work and bounce people in the offseason.
