The 2022 MotoAmerica REV’IT! Twins Cup was undecided heading into the final race at Barber Motorsports Park.

Blake Davis

Rookie sensation Blake Davis came into the weekend 15 points clear of second place, Anthony Mazziotto. And although Davis hadn’t been fastest through qualifying, he did top the time sheets in Sunday morning’s warm up session aboard his N2 Racing BobbleHeadMoto Yamaha YZF-R7.

Kaleb De Keyrel started from pole position and swiftly took off at the front.  On lap two, a multi-rider incident in turn 5 caused a red flag and race restart.

De Keyrel pulled away again on the restart, while Davis shuffled through to second from fifth on the grid.  Davis did his best to ride cautiously, yet still aggressive when needed, as he battled with Teagg Hobbs and Benjamin Gloddy

The Aprilia rider, De Keyrel, rode a fast, lonely race to first across the finish line while the points battle behind him raged on.  In the end, Davis remained calm and finished in fourth place with enough points to secure the championship title.

Teagg Hobbs finished in second place, followed closely by Benjamin Gloddy.
