Hello, and welcome in to the latest edition of Yankee Candle Reviews here on SoBros Network. I will be your host – the Fragrance Aficionado of SoBros Network, also the EIC, Stoney Keeley. My passion for Yankee Candle began in 2006, when I strolled into the location in Providence Marketplace in Mount Juliet, Tennessee. I picked up a jar of Autumn Woods, and found it captured the essence of the season perfectly. I’ve been hooked in this…well, you could even call it ‘romantic…’ relationship with Yankee Candle ever since. Today, I’ll be reaching into the closet to pull out what I consider to be an underrated Christmas scent, Holiday Hearth.
Well, folks – I am here to say that Holiday Hearth isn’t going to last much longer in this household. It’s time to light this bitch up, and as you can see from when I recorded this video review, there ain’t that much left to go! So, pour one out for this candle – unless it pops back up in the ‘returning favorites’ section, it’s going to become a little bit harder to find.
Nobody knows what the fuck this candle smells like, though. It’s Home for the Holidays meets Christmas Cookie, and I’m still not even confident that I can accurately describe what Home for the Holidays smells like. It’s like we all just agreed one day that Home for the Holidays “smells like Christmas.” We don’t know what that means. We just know that we get it. How do you describe what a holiday gathering smells like in a way that isn’t disgusting meat farts? Well, I’ll tell you – “Holiday Hearth.”
Recommended Burning: You’ve just poured a warm glass of mulled cider. You’re deep throating a candy cane. A fire is lit. It’s cold outside. Your heart is full as you lie, fully nude, on the bearskin rug beneath the Christmas tree. “This is just like when I was a baby,” you think silently to yourself before you realize how weird you’re being. You get dressed quickly as your dinner guests arrive. They comment on how homey and cozy the house smells as you’re contemplating seeking a therapist in your head.
