Well, we may be about a month late, but our Utility Man, Steven McCash, and I finally got around to putting a bow on the 2022 season on the College Football Roundup. I just hate leaving things unfinished, and it was driving me nuts that this season’s worth of work was just sitting out there like a loose end needing to be tied up.
So, we got together earlier this week to record our main takeaways from the absolute dud of a National Championship we got between the Georgia Bulldogs and the TCU Horned Frogs. Of course, we always end our runs here on the College Football Roundup with a bit of an accountability pod, during which we revisit our preseason predictions and take victory laps over the things we got right and laugh hysterically at the insane stuff we got wrong. After sifting through that, we look at the final AP Poll and do a little buy/sell stock watch among the top 10 teams. It’s a nice way to put 2022 to bed – we’ll be back this summer for our annual SEC preview pods. ‘Til then, enjoy the offseason!
