Reliving Old SoBros YouTube Videos

Let's take a trip down Memory Lane here at SoBros HQ today.

There’s so much random shit over on our YouTube channel. I’ve always talked about that aspect of SoBros Network – how it’s kind of hard to market, and hard to pitch, because there really are no limits to what we’ll do. I don’t know if you see that more clearly anywhere else than on our YouTube – from Yankee Candle reviews to four-hour NFL Draft live streams…it’s all up there.

The other day, I was scrolling through the nearly 400 videos we had posted there. My aim was to clean some of it up and streamline the channel a bit. Trim the fat, y’know? Get rid of some old game picks series that were time sensitive and no longer relevant. And, I just got stuck perusing the content we’ve produced throughout the years. I figured, “hey, why not share some of this?” Some of you who are reading this might not have been around SoBros Network at the time it was released. Maybe it’s just me getting a little sentimental now that we’re on Year 10 in the internet game. But, it’s fun to look back at some of what I feel is cool stuff that we’ve made throughout the years. Sit down and watch some “old home movies” with me, if you will.

Rhett Reno: How to Do Good Football Goodlink – I think this was the first real skit that we wrote and produced for SoBros Network. The idea was to have this washed up intramural football player just showing up to pick-up games and trying to teach people how to play football while also not really knowing anything about football. We had actually just finished a pick-up game and everyone stuck around to help us film this ridiculous skit.

The 2018 Past Their Prime Combine – feat. Has Been Sportslink – This was a fun day with the HasBeen boys. I still think we were at a severe disadvantage by being at least five years older than them. But, I would never make an excuse as to why we lost.

The SoBros cover “Midnight City”link – I miss the SoBros Jam Session. We did a lot of fun stuff, but I always felt like this rendition of “Midnight City” was probably the best thing we did.

Fidget Boyzlink – Man, do you guys remember when everyone had a fidget spinner? All the rage back six years ago. We literally had no vision for this video beyond “let’s make a music video for guys with fidget spinners.” I still say we need a reunion clip.

2019 SoBros Network Gatlinburg Vacation Guidelink – This was basically a podcast. I was also not supposed to be working because it was a nice vacation with my wife, but oops. I can’t help it. Anyway, I completely forgot that I did this, but I think I’d like to do more of it.

Get a deal-closer with MANSCAPED’s Refined Colognelink – Tell me I can’t sell shit. TELL ME! This has become one of our more popular videos on YouTube. Shame the promo code doesn’t work anymore *shrugs*

Doing VR at the Tennessee Tech iCube – Like I said, you just never know what the SoBros Network team is going to get into. I can still remember playing that archery game until I felt like I had vertigo.
