Man, I love 2023. It’s here – the future is now. Our old entertainment options are trash – out with the old, in with the new. All of that stuff. I’m so hyped up over the concept of this Jumpshot Live thing that I can barely thread my thoughts together coherently. Gone are the days when your dates are limited to just dinner and a movie. We have creative entrepreneurs out there all over the world that are coming off with viable entertainment options that mark the evolution of our social experience. We can go smash some golf balls at Top Golf. They have places where you can go literally throw axes at a wall. And now, the fine folks at Jumpshot Live are putting together a lounge where you can go shoot some hoops.

Now, we don’t know where these things are going. We don’t know when we’re going to get ’em. But, we know they’re coming, and I for one, am stoked. I can’t tell you guys how many times I’ve been at the bar, buzzing on a few brewskis, and thought to myself, “I could really stand to just shoot a basketball right now.”
Social outings need more competition anyway. I can’t relax if I’m just doing nothing – I’m trying to work on that, but my brain is obsessive and needs to fixate on accomplishing a goal at all times. There are times when I go to bed early because I’m tired and justify it by saying “well, a good night’s sleep is accomplishing a better state of health and with that, you can do more tomorrow.” I’m just uncomfortable in situations where all we have to do is drink and talk. This alleviates that anxiety because now, I’ll be able to play some basketball and not have to worry about all of that. Thank you so much, Jumpshot Live.
I do think this is awesome and it has created one of my favorite meme series of the year so far with dudes talking about dunking on their SOs on date night. I can’t wait to posterize my wife on our anniversary.
