It has been quite literally since the night before the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft that we’ve run it back on The Unofficial Titans Podcast. I swear…I blinked an damn near a month has gone by. I was live streaming for 11 hours and 21 minutes during the draft. My sinuses and allergies were acting up anyway. My voice was completely shot, and I put myself on vocal rest for the week after because I am a big professional voice haver. Then, the next week, I could’ve sworn I told Owen that we could record a Friday show, but when Friday came and I double checked my messages, I realized I never confirmed it with him. I have been slipping lately, y’all. I’m due for a vacation.
Nonetheless, I still wanted to get Owen’s take on the Titans draft haul on the airwaves, so we had a bit of a catch-up on this week’s episode. I ask him about the value of drafting Peter Skoronski. I ask him if he’s been talked off the ledge on Will Levis, if he’s worried about Tyjae Spears not having any legs, and more! Then, we talk about the schedule release and how things shape up for the Titans before getting an overall vibe check on where this team is at as it stands here in May with the 2023 season quickly approaching.
