It may just be September, but Rooster and I are getting into the Spooky Season spirit on this month’s episode of Phone It In. As Rooster reminds us, horses are the most important animals in human history, so it only makes sense for them to spring up in the world’s folklore, mythology, and legends. That’s exactly what we’re here to talk about! From menacing skeletal creatures on which villains ride to the spectral white horses seen along roads at night, there’s no shortage of ghost stories that involve horses. There’s even the fun fable of the horse race against the devil that seems to show up in stories throughout history in different ways. This is something fun…something different…to get you into the mood for the spookiest time of the year.
